As a token creator on Token Layer, you earn fees from every trade of your token. This provides a sustainable revenue stream aligned with your token’s success.

Earning Structure

Fee Range

Creator Fee: $0.20 - 20bps

Earn between $0.20 and 20 basis points (bps) per trade

The exact fee depends on:

• Trade size
• Token liquidity
• Market conditions
• Token settings

Fee Calculation

Creator fees are calculated per trade and accrue automatically:

Example 1: Small Trade

• Trade size: $100
• Fee: $0.20 (minimum)

Example 2: Medium Trade

• Trade size: $10,000
• Fee at 10 bps: $10,000 × 0.10$10**

Example 3: Large Trade

• Trade size: $100,000
• Fee at 20 bps: $100,000 × 0.20$20**

Fee Deductions

Token Referrals

When someone purchases your token through a referral link:

30% of your creator fee is paid to the token referrer

Example with Token Referral

If your creator fee is $10 and the purchase was referred:

1. Token referral fee: $10 × 30$3.00
2. You receive: $10 -$3.00 = $7.00

This incentivizes others to promote your token, potentially increasing overall trading volume

Launch Your Token

To start earning creator fees, you need to create a token on Token Layer:

1. Connect Your Wallet

   Visit app.tokenlayer.network and connect

2. Create Token

   Use the token creation interface or API

3. Set Parameters

   Configure your token’s name, symbol, and other properties

4. Launch

   Deploy your token and start earning from trades

When your token reaches the supply threshold, it graduates to external DEXes (Uniswap V3, PancakeSwap, Meteora):

You continue earning creator fees even after graduation to external DEXes
